Lagos - Nollywood actor, Ebun Oloyede, popularly known as Olaiya Igwe has blamed the high rate of piracy in the country on production of too many movies by film makers, reports Nigerian Entertainment Today(NET)
Oloyede said that the primary problem is the excess films in circulation, and revealed that when a producer releases 40 movies in a year and sell them for N200, the pirate would reproduce it and sell it for N100.
He advised producers to reduce the number of movies that they put out on a yearly basis.
The Nollywood star said that a good structure in place to protect our artistic works.
