Los Angeles - This past week a list was published by The New York Times, where they listed the most powerful celebrity couples on social media.

This list is not based on the number of followers these celeb couples have across different social network platforms, but their ability to self market on these networks thus creating revenue for themselves, also the power they have over their followers, on platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Celebs use social media as a way to sell their products, get awareness for their causes and/or simply create hype and grow their public image, which if you are a celebrity the more high profile you are, the more money you earn.
