Abuja - Kenyan gospel singer Emmy Kosgei has refuted claims accusing her of conceiving before her marriage with Nigerian pastor Anselm Madubuko.
Various media sources have hinted that Kosgei was 3 months pregnant.
She spoke to Kenya's Standardmedia last Friday and brushed off the claims as rumours.
She said: "I heard of all those rumours, people saying I hurried my wedding because I was pregnant. I decided not to answer to critics. But see, here I am, do I look six months pregnant? That was a big joke. As long as I plan to get babies and the fact that pregnancy is a good thing, everything has to be done in its time."
The singer, who left Kenya for Nigeria on Saturday, will return to Kenya in December for her annual Eldoret gospel concert.
