Bonang and AKA cause a Twitter frenzy

05 November 2015, 07:52Karishma Thakurdin

Abuja - An alleged affair between AKA and Bonang has come into the spotlight once again.

Swirling rumours about their relationship first came to light in September, after DJ Zinhle released a statement on her blog MomentsbyDJZinhle.com, claiming that an affair with Bonang was the reason behind her split from AKA. (Read that story here

Just moments after Zinhle's post went viral both AKA and Bonang fiercely denied the claims through statements by their management.

However, both AKA and Bonang have remained silent on the claims since then.

On Wednesday evening Bonang and AKA's relationship quickly became a talking point with Bonang making the Twitter trends list once again. The frenzy started after Twitter users discovered cryptic tweets by Bonang and AKA, which they linked together.

Bonang took to the social media platform a few hours before the highly-anticipated opening of the H&M store in Sandton City to show off her goodies from the store.

In her post Bonang thanked H&M for her designer goodies. "Thank you for the goodies H&M South Africa...Bae and I are OBSESSED!! Can't wait!," she wrote.

In a separate post AKA also took to Twitter to thank H&M for his outfit, "My outfit on some this ain't out yet...BALMAIN X H&M...Sponsored by Bae."

AKA's tweet was deleted shortly afterwards.

This caused quite a storm on social media with twitter users weighing in on the situation.
