Boy band singer proposes to his boyfriend

02 September 2014, 10:02

Los Angeles - Lane Bass proposed to his boyfriend for the second time on Sunday.

The former *NSYNC singer popped the question to his partner Michael Turchin on the one-year anniversary of their engagement and he presented the actor with another ring - a fetching gold band featuring two rows of black diamonds.

In a message attached to a picture of his engagement ring, Michael wrote on Instagram: "Who gets proposed to a second time on the first anniversary of the first proposal?? This guy!!! (sic)"

The 35-year-old star and the actor have been a couple for two-and-a-half years and a source told PEOPLE magazine that they are expected to tie the knot next year.

Lance revealed in June that he was keen to start planning the couple's nuptials but they were not due to happen anytime soon.

He said: "I literally called Michael last night and said, 'Babe, we have to plan something. I'm tired of telling everyone we haven't done anything yet!"

Lance dated women, including Boy Meets World actress Danielle Fishel, until he was 22 and has since been in failed relationships with Brazilian model Pedro Andrade and hairdresser Ben Thigpen before meeting Michael.
