Lagos - Popular Nollywood actress, Bukky Wright, has joined the league of Nigerian entertainers seeking political positions, reports NewsDay
She is contesting as a member of the House of Representatives for the Abeokuta South Federal Constituency seat, under the Social Democratic Party.
The 47-year-old actress recently released campaign posters to drive home her ambition.

Bukky Wright was born on the 31 of March 1967. She is an Economics graduate of the University of Lagos.
The veteran actress started her acting career in 1996 and has so far featured in over 100 Nollywood movies.
Other female celebrities who veered into politics includes Kenny St. Best, Muma Gee and Kate Henshaw.
