Abuja – Musician and director-general for women development, Onyeka Onwenu, has been accused of assault and unlawful eviction by a business woman, Olajoke Adesipe, reports Daily Post.
Adesipe alleges that Onwenu got her security officers to evict her from her shop, during which she was beaten.
Adesipe sent a petition to the National Human Rights Commission, explaining how she was forcefully evicted from the National Centre for Women Development in Abuja where she owns a shop.
According to Adesipe she was attacked when she tried to take pictures of the destruction in the shop with her phone.
