Lagos - To check the high rate of uncensored films in the market, the National Film and Video Censors (NFVCB), said 74 films were approved for March, reports The Nation.
In a statement released on Monday the Film Censorship and Classification Department (FCCD) said that 40 were classified for ’15 years and above ’ while 34 were classified for 18 years and above.
English language movies had 23 approvals, while the Yoruba genre had 27 approvals. Hausa films had 19 approvals. With Bini and Urhobo films having four and one approvals respectively.
