Lagos - Nigerian born British actor, Chiwetel Ejiofor was made a Commander of the Order of the British Empire at London’s Buckingham Palace, reports Nigerian Entertainment Today (NET).
Chiwetel Ejiofor was awarded for his services to drama, and adds the CBE to his list of accolades, after being awarded an Order of the British Empire(OBE) in 2008.

The 12 Years A Slave actor was awarded by the Duke of Cambridge, Prince William during an official ceremony held at Buckingham Palace in London on Tuesday.
The 38 year-old star was born in Nigeria but grew up in north London has received an Oscar nomination and won a BAFTA in 2013 for his moving performance in 12 Years A Slave.
