Chris Brown throws shade at Karrueche Tran on Instagram

20 March 2015, 07:00

Los Angeles - Chris Brown took a subtle swipe at his ex-girlfriend after she uploaded a sexy snap on her Instagram account on Wednesday.

The 25-year-old singer warned Karrueche Tran about the dangers of being a 'thot' - an acronym for "that hoe over there" - after she posted a revealing photograph of herself in her bikini from her single girls' holiday in Cancun, Mexico.

Writing in the comments section of the picture, which shows Karrueche leaning over while her butt faces the camera, he wrote: "Thirst trap 101. Continue to be a lady beautiful...U are perfect...Don't let the Thot form from anger (sic)."

The brunette beauty is currently enjoying some time in the sun with her pal Christina Milian after she dumped the Loyal hitmaker last month following allegations he'd fathered a love child.

Taking to her Twitter account after the shocking news broke, the 26-year-old model confirmed she'd split from the star for good so she could avoid any "baby drama".

She tweeted at the time: "Listen. One can only take so much. The best of luck to Chris and his family. No baby drama for me (sic)."

It is believed Chris had hooked up with mutual friend Nia Amey, 31, in 2013 while he and on/off girlfriend Karrueche were on a break and now has nine-month-old daughter Royalty with her.

However, he has yet to comment on the claims.
