D1 declares political ambition

Lagos - Iconic music executive Dayo Adeneye aka D1 is the latest entertainment personality to join politics.

He will be vying for a seat in the Ogun house assembly under the Odogbolu constituency.

The Radio/TV personality made the announcement via social media and shared the picture on Instagram.

‘My dear friends. Having succumbed to the wishes and requests of my people in Ogun state I have decided to contest in the 2015 elections. Kindly keep me in your prayers as I embark on this next phase of my life.’  He wrote next to the photo

By making the decision, Dayo Adeneye has followed in the footsteps of fellow Kennis Music executive, Kenny Saint Brown who is also seeking an elective office.

KSB is seeking a seat at the Lagos State House of Assembly Ikeja Constituency 1.
