Fast and Furious 7 actress to host new web-based car show

01 May 2015, 09:02

Los Angeles - Michelle Rodriguez is set to present and produce a new car show for Yahoo Autos.

The 36-year-old actress, who recently starred in Fast and Furious 7, has been hired to test drive different car models and offer an appraisal of the vehicle for the web-based show, titled Riding Shotgun With Michelle Rodriguez.

Yahoo said Michelle - who's previously dated British model Cara Delevingne - will jump "behind the wheel and into the driver's seat to put the fastest cars to the test as she gears down and weighs in on their performance".

Meanwhile, Michelle recently revealed she turned to "travelling and having sex" as she tried to cope with the death of her Fast and Furious co-star Paul Walker, who died in a single-car accident in November 2013.

Michelle admitted: "I actually went on a bit of a binge. I went crazy a little bit .... I went pretty crazy.

"A lot of the stuff I did last year I would never do had I been in my right mind.

"I felt like nothing I could do could make me feel alive, so I just kept pushing myself harder and harder. I was travelling and I was having sex. And I was just trying to ignore everything that I was feeling."
