Femi Kuti holds concert in Abuja

Abuja - Afrobeat musician Femi Kuti will hold a concert in Abuja on November 22 at the BMO event arena, reports 360nobs

The event is organized by Good Vibrations Nigeria Limited who say the show is part of their   plan to change the entertainment landscape of Abuja.

Other artist expected to perform at the event include rapper, MI and singer Burna Boy.

Femi Kuti is son of Afrobeat Legend Fela Anikulapo Kuti, and like his father has shown a strong commitment to social and political causes throughout his career.

 Femi has been nominated for a Grammy award four times, in the world music category  in 2003, 2010, 2012 and 2013.

He contributed to  a remake of his father’s classic song, Water No Get Enemy, to Red Hot & Riot, a compilation CD in tribute to Fela Kuti that was released by the Red Hot Organization and MCA.
