First Nigerian internet radio station launched

Abuja - 234Radio has made history in the Nigerian broadcasting industry by becoming the first internet radio station to be officially launched in the country.

The new station is a brainchild of an enterprising Nigerian youth, Kayode Yeye, popularly referred to DJ O'kay.

Yeye is a seasoned DJ with over a decade experience in radio programming, across radio stations in Nigeria.

said Yeye.

The DJ said the new internet radio station will  redefine radio broadcasting with a mix of exciting DJs and quality radio programming as well unparalleled entertainment on the go, beyond geographical barriers.

"With a mix of Alternative Music, Blues, Classical Music, Country Music, Electronic Music, Hip Hop / Rap, Inspirational, Jazz, Afro Beats, Afro Pop, Reggae, R&B / Soul and many more, 234Radio is a one stop shop for music and entertainment, " said Yeye said.
