Los Angeles – The controversial redneck family from the popular reality show Honey Boo Boo was rushed to hospital after they were injured in a car crash on Monday night.

According to the gossip website TMZ Honey Boo Boo, Mama June, Pumpkin and Jessica were all passengers in the car driven by Sugar Bear.

“Sources tell us they were at a red light, waiting to turn left. The light turned green and Sugar Bear began the turn. A guy driving a truck was allegedly speeding in the opposite direction with his lights off and crashed into them,” TMZ reported.

The family was taken to a local hospital and treated for their injuries.

TMZ reported that Sugar Bear had a contusion on his back, Mama June injured her back, Honey Boo Boo had a headache, and Pumpkin suffered severe chest bruises.
