Lagos - A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos has upturned the election of Ibinabo Fiberisnma Egbuka as President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria(AGN), reports Pulse.ng.
The Judgment which was delivered on Monday is from a suit filed by actor Maradonna Mikevine.
The presiding judge, Justice James Tsoho, ruled that the October 2014 election that brought Ibinabo back for second term was against a subsisting court order obtained by actor Emeka Ike in 2013.
The order restrained the AGN from conducting any elections.
Emeka had dragged Ibinabo to court in July 2013.
The National Executive Council of the Actors Guild of Nigeria have responded to the court and has said that it will appeal the judgement.
