“The partnership was when we started two years ago, Ice Prince was a Nigerian who has followers from across the world, I was in South Africa and was surprised to know that he was well known in SA.

“Nigerian artists like to do that kind of partnership with other company and when you are a company that is building your brand, you make a partnership with a celebrity because you want to connect the image of the artist and that of the brand you are creating, and Ice Prince for us was already a success in the US and other African countries, and he is still loyal to his root, he is fresh and cool.

“He was very helpful for us in the beginning as a lot of people wants to identify with us. The partnership really gave us some sort of publicity.”

Zmyslowski said Jovago offers over 200 000 hotels around the world for business and leisure for customers to book online, and over 20 000 in Africa.
