Comedian Julius Agwu has pulled out of Rivers governorship race, reports Nigerian ENtertainment Today(NET)
The comedian Julius Agwu who had declared his intention to run for governor in his native Rivers State in the 2015 general elections, made the announcement during his annual comedy show.
He was scheduled to officially declare his political party and other details at his comedy show tagged ‘The Declaration’ which held at the Transcorp Hilton hotel Abuja.

Sources revealed that the comedian has pulled out of the governorship due to zoning-related issues.
The source said that the incumbent governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi advised Julius Agwu to step down as they are from the same area, and it was not a right political move for him to contest for governor for now.
The funny man is still planning to get involved in politics despite the new development.
