KWAM 1 escapes death in Osun

Osogbo -Fuji music legend, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall was reportedly shot by unidentified assailants while returning from political rally in Osun State, reports Daily Post

According to reports, KWAM 1 or K1 as he is fondly called was driving himself back home when the incident occured.

Though he survived the shooting, it is not known if this was a robbery or an attempt on his life.

The musician sang a campaign theme song for the present governor of Osun State who will be contesting for reelection on Saturday.

KWAM1 released a new album titled  State of the Nation earlier in the year which was dedicated to the Awujale of Ijebu land who turned 80.

The new album  features his children; Honey B and Musty, and veteran fuji musicians Alhaja Salawa Abeni, Musiliu Haruna-Ishola, and rapper, Olamide.
