Kanye West gets daily haircuts

05 November 2015, 11:05

Los Angeles - Kanye West gets his hair cut every day.

The Gold Digger rapper racks up a bill of more than $185,000 a year on keeping his locks neat because he insists on having it refreshed constantly.
Rihanna's dad, Ronald Fenty - who spent a month on the road with his daughter and Kanye in 2010 - told heat magazine: "It's crazy - Kanye gets a hair cut every day.

"He pays his barber $500 a time. I don't understand how that much hair gets taken off. Kanye just loves the fresh look."

The 38-year-old rapper gets his locks tended to by Ibn Jasper, who he met in his hometown of Chicago 20 years ago and begged him to move to New York in 2003 following a series of disastrous cuts from barbers there, which led to him being pictured frequently in an orange hat.

Ibn said: "Whenever he was pictured wearing that orange hat, it meant he'd gotten a f***ed up cut in NYC.

"He asked me to move to NYC and I told him, 'When you can pay me what I make in the shop, I'll move.'"

It was recently revealed that Kanye - who is expecting his second child with wife Kim Kardashian West - has very specific demands for his tour accommodation, including black towels, a speaker that was discontinued 10 years ago and cylindrical vases.
