Kim Kardashian West is pregnant!

01 June 2015, 10:02

Los Angeles - Kim Kardashian West is pregnant.

The 34-year-old reality TV star revealed she is expecting her second child with her husband, rapper Kayne West, in a teaser at the end of the midseason finale of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

The couple - who welcomed their 23-month-old daughter North in June 2013 - have been open about their desire to expand their family and a thrilled Kim expresses her relief at having finally fallen pregnant for the second time as she chats to sister Khloe Kardashian, 30, in the clip from an upcoming episode of the E! series.

She says: "I just got the blood test back, and I am pregnant!"

E! quickly took to their Kardashian Twitter account to congratulate the star, writing: "Congrats! @KimKardashian reveals she's pregnant with baby number two (sic)"

And Kanye, 37, is said to be equally excited at the prospect of adding to his brood.

Kim's trainer, Gunnar Peterson told PEOPLE: "A lot of people worry that being a dad will take away from work or couplehood, but Kanye has gotten better at everything since he's become a dad."

The brunette beauty has documented the challenges she has faced conceiving baby number two on the reality show and admitted to feeling exhausted after undergoing IVF.

Speaking on a recent episode she said: "I'm like so over it. Like I'm exhausted, so I'm sure everyone gets to that point. I'm like, 'Okay, I'm done'."

She also told her half sister Kendall Jenner when the series aired in April: "I complain so much about how I hated being pregnant, and I never thought I would be begging to be pregnant.

"Trying for baby number two is just not fun like baby number one ... I'm like, 'I'm ovulating in five minutes! Get over here!'"
