Lindsay Lohan rejects $200k offer

21 February 2013, 09:31

Los Angeles - Lindsay Lohan turned down $200 000 to host a party.

The Liz & Dick star - who was forced to move back in with her mother due to financial problems before begging a friend to let her stay rent free at his New York apartment - reportedly turned down the huge offer and is seeking half a million dollars to promote Mr. Pink's Ginseng Energy Drink at an upcoming event in Dubai.

A source told gossip website RadarOnline.com: "Lindsay wants $500k for an appearance in Dubai to promote Mr. Pink's Ginseng Energy Drink, which executives at the company are balking at. Mr. Pink is prepared to offer the actress $200k, and would pay for all of LiLo's travel expenses.

"However, the trip might not happen at all because of Lindsay's criminal past and current pending criminal charges. Dubai has very strict laws about convicted criminals entering the country, and Lindsay is still on probation for a necklace theft case. Lindsay is very upset about her financial woes and doesn't trust her new lawyer, Mark Heller, to handle the Dubai travel problem."

'Lindsay is flat-out broke'

The 26-year-old troubled starlet was recently given $100 000 by Anger Management star Charlie Sheen to help pay off her hefty $233 904 tax bill.

But the actress is still struggling to support herself.

Lindsay reportedly left Los Angeles to return to her childhood home last month because she couldn't afford to continue renting her apartment in North Hollywood.

A source said: "Lindsay is being forced to live at home with Dina because she can't afford any other options at the moment.

"Lindsay is flat-out broke and can't even afford to rent a two-bedroom apartment in North Hollywood."

The actress was humiliated when the news broke that she was living with Dina and she begged a pal to let her stay in his $6m apartment in New York, where her neighbours include Nicole Kidman.

A source previously said: "It's only a matter of time though before Lindsay wears out her welcome, as inevitably always happens, because she is a total slob and smokes like a chimney. She is still trying to get her own place, but she's totally broke and has beyond horrible credit - right now, she probably couldn't even get a library card."
