Lagos – Controversial entertainer Maheeda says that Nigerians should respect the governments decision to implement the anti-gay law, according to Pulse
Though Nigeria has received knocks from the international community for passing the law, Maheeda says she feels sorry for gay people in the country, but insists that the governments decision should be followed.
The anti-gay law prevents people of the same sex, showing affection in public, getting married being a member of gay rights group, clubs or any gathering for people who are gay, and it attracts a 14-year-prison term.
