Miley trippin' like Snoop Lion

28 June 2013, 08:47

Los Angeles - Miley Cyrus has joked she and Snoop Lion got on well because they both like getting ''high''.

The 20-year-old singer worked with Snoop on the track Ashtrays and Heartbreaks for her forthcoming album and revealed the rapper - who is a famous cannabis smoker - told her they were very "similar" people.

Speaking on Jimmy Kimmel Live earlier this week - where she was promoting her latest single We Can't Stop - said: “He comes by the studio, he listens to my music ... and he's excited about what I'm doing with my career so it's cool.”

Quizzed about whether the duo socialise, she continued: “We're more alike than you would think. We're very similar. He actually said that.”

Making a reference to the hip-hop star's name change from Snoop Dogg to Snoop Lion, host Jimmy then joked: “That's because he's so high he doesn't even know what his name is...”

Miley quipped back: “Me too. We both are. That's why we get along so well, I guess.”

The former Hannah Montana star - who performed her latest song on the show - has long been rumoured to be a marijuana smoker.

When recently quizzed on whether she is a stoner, Miley said: “You can't ask someone that and expect them to say yes.

I did a song with Snoop Dogg called Ashtrays and Heartbreaks, so people can put it together for themselves.”

Miley was given a Bob Marley cake for her 19th birthday and later joked that she smoked “way too much fucking weed”.
