Mobile operator empowers youth through music

Abuja - Four students from around the country have released a music album as part of plans by a mobile network operator to empower local youth.

The students, who were winners of the Airtel One Mic music talent hunt show, have released an album titled  Airtel One Mic Volume 1.

According to the telecoms company, the development is parts of its determination to continually create opportunities for youths to achieve their dreams.

The colourful album launch, which also marked the 40th birthday of the telco's Brand Ambassador, Tuface Idibia, was held in Lagos with an electrifying all-star performance by Tuface alongside Zorah, Acetune,  LACE, Jay Dreamz and Jitey Peterz.

Airtel One Mic Vol. 1 is an 11-track, all-stars album done by the four  up-and-coming singers, Jeffrey Jackson (also known as Acetune), Alalade Olabode (Jay Dreamz), Ekundayo Monja (LACE) and Bukola Ogunbodede also known as Zorah.

The tracks in the album featured A-list of Nigerian artistes like Tuface, Patoranking, Phyno, Reminisce, Illbliss among others.

Jitey Peterz, the talented singer emerged as Nigeria winner in Airtel Trace Music Star also has tracks in the album. - CAJ News
