Lagos - Popular rapper, Babatunde Olusegun aka Mode 9, has denied relocating to London out of frustration, reports Nigeria Films.
Mode 9 disclosed that he went abroad to attend to personal business, and had no plans to relocate from Nigeria.
Hardcore lyricist said last year that no one cared about his album called Alphabetical Order because he sang mostly non-commercial rap.
The six-time Headies awards ‘Lyricist on the Roll’ winner's album still flopped even after adding Don Jazzy, Ice Prince Zamani and new pop sensation, Dammy Krane to give it a commercial feel.
This has led fellow rap head, Ruggedman to advise Mode 9 to switch completely to commercial rap, if he wants to last in the music industry.
Will Mode 9 eventually sink or swim? Only time will tell.
