More entertainers suffer political defeats

Lagos - More entertatiners lost their political party primaries towards the 2015 election,reports Nigerian Entertainment Today(NET)

 Singer 9ice’s political ambition suffered a big blow as he lost the Oyo State  All Progressive Congress(APC) primaries,while Kate Henshaw lost the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) primaries.

9ice was seeking to represent the Ogbomosho North/Ogbomosho South/Orire Federal Constituency come 2015, and Kate Henshaw lost out of the ticket for the  Calabar South/Akpabuyo/Bakassi Federal Constituency, both at the Federal House of Representatives.
 9ice lost the ticket to Prince Akeem Oyewunmi, the son of an Ogbomoso high chief who is also legal practitioner.

9ice got a total of 142 votes while Akeem reportedly got a total of 270 votes.

9ice and Kate Henshaw join other entertainers like Kenny Saint Best, Tony Tetuila and Dayo Adeneye who all lost out at their respective parties’ primaries.
