Nigeria actor stars alongside Tom Hanks, Emma Watson in new flick

Lagos - British Nigerian-born actor John Boyega will be a  lead character for the screen adaptation of Dave Eggers‘ 2013 novel, The Circle.

 Boyega joins a cast that  includes veteran Hollywood actor, Tom Hanks and Emma Watson.

 The actor, who played the role of Ugwu in Half of a Yellow Sun, also an adaptation of a book, will play Ty, a young boy with special powers in the movie which will be directed by James Ponsoldt.

John Boyega shared the good news on his Instagram page.

“My next movie 'The Circle' has me pumped! Storytelling alongside Tom hanks, Emma Watson and James Ponsoldt ! Very excited about this untold story” he wrote on Instagram.

Movies that Boyega has starred in includes; Imperial Dreams, Junkhearts and the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
