Nigeria’s first weight-loss reality TV show starts in 2014

Lagos - The first ever weight loss reality TV show in Nigeria called  “Fastest  Shedder” will commence in the first quarter of 2014.

According to Seyi Olusore, CEO of Shedams Fitness, the show will highlight the benefits of healthy diets and fitness.

Selection for participants will  begin in  January 2014. The selection process will  determine contestants who will  survive the rigours  in the  Fastest Shedder house.

10 contestants will fight to become the fastest shedder in front of three judges
The  contestants will be giving  daily tasks in a house where they will spend three months. House mates will be evicted based on how much weight they have lost.

The first prize is a  Kia Rio, 1 million Naira, and one year  free gym membership.

The  first runner up gets 750 000 Naira, a Treadmill and 6 months free gym membership.
 The second runner up gets a Wardrobe change by RhemieRoses, 500 000 Naira and 3 months free gym membership.
