Lagos - In an attempt to bring Nigerian cinema to the Indian audience, nine films have been selected to screen at the upcoming India’s Woodpecker Festival, reports Pulse.ng
The organizers have announced that Kunle Afolayan’s multiple award winning ‘October 1,’ Emem Isong's 'Knocking on Heaven's Door,' Obi Emeonye's 'Thy Will be Done' , ‘Half of a Yellow Sun’, Emem Isong’s ‘Champagne’, ‘Silent Tears’, ‘Bedlam’, ‘Brothers’,and ‘Doll House’.
The film festival is scheduled to commence on September 17, 2015 in New Dehli, India.
Founding director of the festival, Narender Yadav says that it is the first time the festival is bringing Nigerian cinema to Indian audience.
