London - Kenyan author, Okwiri Oduor, has won the 2014 Caine Prize for African Literature for her short story My Father’s Head, reports Daily Times
The author will also take home money the £10,000 prize money in an award that celebrates short stories written by African authors, and published in English.
Previous winners of the prize include Nigeria’s Tope Folarin in 2013 and Zimbabwe’s NoViolet Bulawayo in 2011.
