Lagos - Nollywood actor, Osita Iheme has said that the Nigerian movie industry deserved its own ministry and yearly budget since it played a major role in the country’s recent rating as having the best economy in Africa, reports NigeriaFilms
Iheme added that giving Nollywood its own annual budget will provide a lifeline for job seekers.
He is recognized for his role as 'Pawpaw' in the film Aki na Ukwa , and in 2007 Osita received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the African Movie Academy Awards.
