PIC: Mariah Carey shows off her 10k-a-day holiday home

31 July 2015, 08:47

Los Angeles - Mariah Carey is renting a $10k-a-night holiday home.

The Hero hitmaker used Internet lodging site Airbnb to find a stunning property on Malibu's Carbon Beach, which she will move into when she is back in Los Angeles, TMZ reports.

The 3,764sq ft property is owned by movie producer Michael Lambert and includes four bedrooms - one of which, the master suite, spans the entire second floor - and four bathrooms, as well as an additional detached guest house.

The Glitter actress however shared a snap of the view from the patio while "taking a break" from work...

It is unclear yet where Mariah will be storing her shoes in the rental property, as she recently revealed the footwear closet in her New York home is her "favourite room" in the house.

The 45-year-old singer - who is now dating billionaire James Packer and has four-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe with estranged husband Nick Cannon - took to Instagram to show off a tiny portion of an entire room dedicated to her shoes, revealing she has at least 18 shelves just for gold heels, and at least four for knee-high boots.

Along with a picture of her enviable shoe collection, Mariah shared: "Always my favorite room in the house #shoes #shoes #moreshoes (sic)".
