Ray J's girlfriend charged with domestic abuse after beating him up

17 February 2015, 10:01

Los Angeles - Ray J's girlfriend has reportedly been arrested after she allegedly attacked him following a visit to a strip club last week.

Princess Love has reportedly been charged with domestic abuse and battery after she allegedly went "ballistic" at the singer, 33, before leaving him with several cracked ribs, a split lip, and a torn ligament in his knee in New Orleans on Wednesday.

An insider staying at the W French Quarter Hotel, where the incident took place, also claimed they heard the brunette beauty scream at Ray, "I'm gonna kill you."

A security guard at the resort saw the rapper in a bloody state and called the police, according to TMZ.com.

However, following the argument, the hunk then reportedly bailed his lover out and paid $10k for her lawyer.

Meanwhile, Ray J - whose real name is William Ray Norwood Jr. - was forced to call in the emergency services last month after he convinced himself Princess - who allegedly threatened to shoot herself after seeing photographs of the hunk with Karrueche Tran - would murder him before taking her own life.

Speaking to police on his way to work, the One Wish hitmaker told the emergency department he needed urgent assistance at his home, saying: "She's threatening to kill herself because I wanted to end the relationship... I went back to try and find the gun, but she won't show it to me."
