Lagos - Ghanaian dancehall act and current BET Award winner, Stonebwoy confirmed that he received his award Best International Act, Africa on stage and not backstage, as it has been reported, reports Nigerian Entertainment Today(NET).
Stonebwoy in a recent interview explained that the pre-recorded show from the event was aired live on the ‘Lala Anthony’ show, which is a widely viewed television show in London, and the singer still cant fathom why people call it backstage.

The artiste however, said his greatest wish was for Ghana to be on every prestigious stage, which has an African category.
In June Wizkid, Yemi Alade and Ghana’s Fuse ODG slammed the award organizers for disrespecting African acts by handing them awards backstage and not at the main show.
