Telco lines up artists for prime launch

Lagos - All is set for the launch of Glo Prive, a special recognition scheme by a leading mobile network operator.

The event will take place on Wednesday at Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The company said Prive is a unique club designed to accord premium recognition and offer special privileges to high value subscribers on the Glo network.

Globacom has disclosed that A-list artistes had been lined up to provide first class entertainment at the launch.

Promising a stars-spangled evening, Globacom said world class performances have been lined up to entertain guests at the event which will be held at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The headline performance at the ceremony will be a high impact and energetic musical drama which will include Saro 2, Fela on Broadway and other epic international musical dramas from across the world.

This will be complimented by high profile performances by multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter and composer Emmanuel Bezhiwa Idakula, popularly known as Bez, Ego Ogbaro, and Chee the Voice.
The company added that highly resourceful comedian, Gbenga Adeyinka, will anchor the show, which will also feature a special dancehall performance.
"We are set to redefine the top end segment of our market. Glo Prive is designed to celebrate our high value prepaid and postpaid subscribers and treat them like kings. It is bound to excite the market as it is refreshingly different from similar packages in the market,” the company said.
Globacom also disclosed that captains of industry and other celebrities would light up the event and make it a memorable one.
