Wale Gates dissects Sheyi Shays dress

04 March 2015, 10:06

Lagos -  UK based Nigerian comedian Wale Gates has dissected the skimpy dress that singer Seyi Shay wore to meet President Goodluck Jonathan.

She wore the  controversial  outfit at an event held in Lagos on Sunday, March 1, 2015 where over 5,000 Nigerian youths met with the President of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan.

“The moment she sat next 2d President, GEJ went into Prayer Warrior mode Isaiah 54:17 "No weapon FASHIONED against me shall prosper" I heard.” The comedian tweeted.

"Dame Patience would have to live up to her name. Better join your husband on his campaign b4 dey use short dress collect oil block from am." he added.

He joked that the musician wanted to use the short dress to collect an oil block from the president

This is the second time that Seyi Shay’s outfit is a trending topic as her dress  to the 2014 Channel O Music Video Awards in South Africa also stirred some controversy.
