Wyclef posts raunchy pic on Twitter

19 October 2012, 08:05

Los Angeles - Wyclef Jean celebrated his 43rd birthday in style.

The singer showed off his toned physique by posing for a photograph outside his house, straddling his Ducati motorcycle and wearing nothing but a pair of red pants.

He took to his Twitter profile to post the picture of him, which shows him slathered in oil adding: "TODAY I AM 43 YEARS OLD! I look And feel 26! U cant keep à good Man down! Keep à smile when they want you to frown! (sic)"

The musician, who reached the age celebrated his birthday on Wednesday was flooded with birthday wishes from fans all over the world, which he proudly retweeted.

Many followers amused

Several of his female admirers praised his good looks, but many were left bemused and disturbed by the picture and simply asked "why?"

Since leaving The Fugees in 1997 Wyclef, who has been married to his wife Marie Claudinette for 18 years, has enjoyed a solo career.

He claims the band split partially because of his disastrous liaison with bandmate Lauryn Hill, and alleges the singer told him he was the father of her baby when it was actually Rohan Marley's.

Wyclef insisted: "I was married and Lauryn and I were having an affair, but she led me to believe that the baby was mine, and I couldn't forgive that, she could no longer be my muse. Our love spell was broken."
