Lagos - A stage play, Yoruba Romance will provide the entertainment at Terra Kulture’s October’s stage fest, reports Nigerian Entertainment Today(NET)
The stage production is directed by Kenneth Uphopho, who is the artistic director of Lagos Theatre Festival.
The play which is written by Tyrone Terrence is an adaptation of a 17th century Russian play titled Marriage Proposal by Anton Chekhov.
It is a hilarious comedy about the age-old mating ritual between man and woman.
It uses humor to address the issues surrounding inter-tribal relationship, that include marriage.
The play will show every Sunday in October – 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th – with two shows slated for 3pm & 6pm at Terra Kulture on Tiamiyu Savage Street, VI.
