The search which started on Wednesday is the biggest pan-African talent search competition that involves calling, singing on your mobile phone.

A Tanzanian emerged winner of the 2015 edition after the 13 finalists converged in a nail-biting head-to-head Grand Finale.
Nigeria was represented by Jitey Peters who won the country’s leg of the competition.The winner got a record deal with Universal Music, mentorship from Akon and promotion for a total value exceeding $500 000.
