Dencia sues American actress over Whitenicious

28 January 2016, 17:05

Lagos - US actress and activist LisaRaye McCoy's lawyers have replied Dencia's lawyers after the Cameroonian singer and entrepreneur fired off a letter threatening to sue her for comments she made about her product, Whitenicious.

This happened after Lisa claimed that  Whiteniciousr causes cancer  during a radio interview to promote her movie “Skinned”, which is about the epidemic of skin bleaching in Africa and beyond.

An angry Dencia first fired off at LisaRaye on social media for saying her products cause cancer and then later sent her lawyers to write to LisaRaye threatening to sue her if she doesn't retract her statement and apologize.

According to TMZ LisaRaye's lawyer, C. Anthony Mulrain,  fired back, making several points, he said that  LisaRaye never called out Whitenicious, she referenced "Whitealicious" on the radio.

-- Even if a jury felt she was really going after Whitenicious, by Dencia's own admission, it's a God send, after she tweeted that every time a celeb or blog mentions Whitenicious, saying anything good or bad, the sales go up 1000%, and added that there will be no retraction.
