Lagos - With the killing of two black men by American police in the last two days, singer Emma Nyra who was born in the US and only moved back to Nigeria in 2012, says she feels safer in her country of origin.
“I was born and raised in America. I moved to Nigeria in 2012. Although Nigeria is not perfect and definitely has its challenges, I feel safe” she tweeted on Thursday.

“If America continues this way and trump becomes president then God knows I ain't never moving back here. Yall are welcome to join me” she added.
There were fatal shootings in the United States of Alton Sterling in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Philando Castile in Falcon Heights, Minnesota by white police officers in the last two days.
