Fans attack music producer over alleged unpleasant comment

23 May 2016, 14:12

Lagos - Award-winning beat-maker, Leriq , came under a lot of fire  for the way he replied an unnamed fan (also an up-and-coming producer) who requested his help.

The Aristokrat Records’ in-house producer, drew the anger of fans with a supposedly harmless post.

‘Hello sir…am a music producer n I make beats….can I have ur email so I can mail my beats to u,’ the fan had written in a private message to Leriq.

Leriq who had simply replied the fan’s message with ‘I make beats too’, then deemed it fit to share the screenshot of the conversation on his Instagram with the caption: ‘Send your beats to those who need it bro’, much to the chagrin of his followers who didn’t spare him harsh telling-offs.

Leriq in another Instagram post explained that all upcoming producers should be careful  of who they  send their beats to.

Send your beats to those who need it bro ..
