Harrysong gets nomination for Ghana music award

Lagos - Musician, Harrysong has been nominated in the African Artiste of the Year category at the 17th edition of Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).

The VGMA established in 2000 is the most respected and most anticipated music awards scheme in Ghana and one of the biggest and most consistent in Africa.

Speaking on his nomination, Harrysong said on Wednesday in Abuja that God and his fans were behind his success story.

"It is indeed an honour to be nominated as African Artiste of the year, Ghana Music Awards.

"I have worked so hard for this and even more, and I couldn't have gone this far without God and my fans.

"It's been God and my fans all the years, and I love them so much because they are almost everything I have," he said.

Harrysong urged upcoming artiste to be consistent and trust God in all they do.
