Lagos - Singer, Simi who discovered her music talent during her time as a member of a local church choir, has said that she won’t be doing anymore Gospel songs, reports Pulse.ng
The "Jamb Question" crooner, Simi, who is signed to X3M record label, in a recent interview said that she switched to mainstream music in order to improve her finances.
"My faith in God hasn’t wavered because I went mainstream, I prayed to God to bless my career if it was his plan for me. I also don’t see myself doing gospel music again”. Simi said.

Though her music career began as far back as 2006, she began earning recognition in 2014, after doing covers to songs released by some international artistes such as Rihanna and Adele.
Her popularity has also brought about some controversies, as she was rumoured to be dating Nigerian rapper, Falz.
Both have however denied the report in separate interviews, maintaining that they are just friends.
