Lagos - The Federal High Court sitting in Lagos on Wednesday , stripped Ibinabo Fiberesima off her position as the president of Actors Guild of Nigeria, AGN.
Ibinabo is facing a 5 year prison term for accidentally killing Dr. Giwa Suraj in a car accident.
In a statement issued by the National Secretary of AGN, Femi Durojaiye, the actress who is the current president will step down while Emeka Ike takes over as the new president.

The statement released said that the Federal High Court sitting in Lagos, has struck out Ibinabo’s suit challenging the nullification of her election to the Presidency of AGN and also challenging the legitimacy of the Presidency of Emeka Ike.
The implication of this judgment is that Emeka Ike takes over as the president of AGN.
