Lagos - Film maker Kunle Afolayan has been deemed an African Icon in the entertainment industry by the Afro-Heritage Broadcasting and Entertainment Awards (AHBEA) in the United States, reports Pulse.ng
He receive the award at the 2016 edition, were the ‘The CEO’ director was awarded the 'An 'Icon in the African Entertainment Industry' award in Houston.

The Afro-Heritage Broadcasting and Entertainment Awards (AHBEA) is an annual event created to celebrate African artistes that has made serious impact in entertainment industry.
The 2016 edition of event was hosted by Seyi Law, was also attended by Odunlade Adekola and Sunny Ade.
