Lagos - The Lagos International Jazz Day with its stellar lineup will showcase the state and all its beauty to the rest of the world, according to State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode.
Ambode, spoke optimistically on the forthcoming event, saying that the activities lined up for the festival will go a long way in showing the tourism potential of the state.

He added that his administration would work tirelessly in making sure that Lagos is also seen as the tourism hub of Nigeria, with it already being the financial and commercial hub of the country.
He also used South Africa as an illustration, as it generated over a billion rand from its Cape Town Jazz Festival, saying that Lagos could far outperform this figure if properly managed.
Artist who will be performing at the Jazz Day are: Dare Art-Alade, Yinka Davies, Lekan Babalolo and Organic Jazz among others.
