08 March 2016, 20:41

Lagos - Kate Henshaw  visited an IDP camp where she provided accommodation for two displaced families.

The actress visited an IDP camp where she provided accomodation for two displaced families.

She took to Instagram and shared the photo above with the words, "To celebrate International Women's Day today, one of the tasks I volunteered to do, suggested by @abovewhispers was to visit an IDP camp. I contacted Majiri Onoko who does a lot of humanitarian work and the founder of @beyondusualcare.

The IDPs under Pastor Dagkwa's Church care gather at this church on Sunday. I could not meet with them today as they were out to fend for themselves.

The immediate need for two  families was accommodation. I give glory to God that I was able to help out.

Have you helped a woman you do not know today?"

Henshaw is an actress, politician and fitness instructor with over 15 years of experience on TV.
