27 July 2016, 16:26

Lagos - These are not the best of times for legendary Congolese singer, Koffi Olomide who has reportedly been sentenced to an 18-month jail term without the option of fine by a Kinshasa court.

This follows  an assault on one of his female dancers in Nairobi, Kenya few days ago.

In a new solidarity message he shared on his Facebook page, the embattled singer wants his fans to use his photo on social media as a sign of protest against his conviction.
